MX (Mail Exchange) records are DNS records that specify the mail servers responsible for receiving email on behalf of a domain. They direct incoming emails to the correct server based on priority, allowing email to be delivered to the right destination.

What does it do?

  • Direct Email to the Correct Server: MX records tell other mail servers where to deliver email for your domain.

  • Email Routing: They ensure that emails are directed to the appropriate mail server, based on priority.

  • Required for Receiving Emails: If your domain does not have valid MX records, incoming emails will fail to be delivered.

  1. Go to your domain registrar and add the following record. Be sure to remove the brackets and type your domain.
