DNS Security

Updated over 2 months ago

DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions) is a set of extensions to DNS that adds a layer of security. It helps protect against attacks such as cache poisoning by ensuring that the responses to DNS queries are authentic and have not been tampered with. DNSSEC does this by using digital signatures, allowing DNS resolvers to verify that the data received is legitimate and comes from the correct source.

Enable DNSSEC

Please note that your domain registrar must support DNSSEC for this process.

  1. Go to your desired website and locate the Domains section in your account dashboard.

  2. Scroll down or select DNSSEC from the left sidebar menu.

  3. Use the toggle button to activate DNSSEC.

  4. Configure the given keys and parameters at your registrar.
