What is the CPU use limit for VPS?
Updated over 3 weeks ago

The CPU (Central Processing Unit) of a server is responsible for executing instructions and performing calculations for the operating system and applications running on your VPS.

CPU usage surges are normal during intensive tasks or higher workloads. However, consistently high CPU usage is uncommon in stable, well-balanced systems.

All our systems are equipped with New Relic's monitoring service. If CPU usage exceeds 90% for an extended period (approximately 1 hour), an alert is triggered and sent to our team. In such cases, we proactively reduce the CPU power by 25% to prevent overheating and potential malfunctions.

If this issue occurs frequently or persists for extended periods, we will reach out to you. It may indicate that your website is compromised or targeted by malicious malware.
